This is a blog for my Social Media class, and I felt like I should write a small post explaining a few things about me.
I’m Brian Hepfinger, 20, junior at Slippery Rock University, and a Communication major (journalism). I’m a huge fan of the NBA and NFL. I’ve had a blog for almost five years now, and It contains posts about both sports.
I’m an aspiring journalist. I’ve covered many different sports for my school’s newspaper, The Rocket, and I even covered a few Boston Celtics games for a radio station last year. Watching sports is a huge passion of mine, and getting to write about it makes my experience even better. That’s why I want to be a journalist.
I’m also a huge gamer. I play video games a lot. Along with that, I’m very into music. I listen to music all the time, because there is a song for any mood.
Other than that, I go to school. Last semester was my best semester by far, and my grades really improved. My second post on this blog will be about the Olympics, for my class. I’ve never been a big fan of the Olympics, and I’ve barely ever watched them. But, this assignment/blog gives me a good opportunity to watch them, and also keep up with the social media aspects of it.
